Jackson called me at work last night – his reading level has improved, in terms of grade level, from 3.4 to 6.2 – WOW! Jackson reads on a 6th grade level? That’s impressive – but that’s how Jackson gets things done – 110% or nothing. Greer had dance yesterday – 4:45 on Tuesdays. Whose idea was that? Oh wait – that’s where we ended up because I waited until the last minute to register her this year. Well… thank goodness we were able to switch – Thursdays look out – here comes the boss lady in a tutu.
I slept in today, well actually it went something like... got up, got the kids ready, took them to school and then went back to bed – my sinuses are driving me crazy – I know I’m not alone. I have sneezed a bazillion times and wiped the tears from my eyes until they are raw. Boo Hoo – I’ll have some cheese with that whine, please. Speaking of cheese…it’s almost 4pm and I have no idea what’s for dinner. I took some ground beef out of the freezer earlier but I’m thinking Johnny’s Pizza (probably because coupons came in the mail today).
It’s Wednesday which means Mark has class and ughhh - it’s his “late night”. I know what it takes to do well in school but Mark is blowing my mind – he made, not JUST an “A”, but 100% on his last anatomy test and a 98% on his lab test – What? I didn’t make straight A’s until graduate school. I’m so proud of him, so proud of where he is going in life, so proud that he is willing to take this huge leap into a different career field – especially after 14 years in law enforcement. Setting goals is one thing - seeing them through is awesome.
Kids, laundry, dinner (or a phone call to order dinner), and 3rd grade homework await me – I’m outie – for now!
P.S. This blog’s ‘bout to get a facelift – it’s gonna be fantabulous!
Any Questions?
