If that doesn’t describe the last 3 weeks at our house – nothing else will! Surgeries, strep throats, viral infections, head colds – sleepless nights, loss of appetites, running noses, throats on fire – antibiotics, pain medication, over the counter meds for all the snot – lots of stress, taking deep breaths, is this ever gonna end?
We are on the up swing – everyone is feeling better and looking forward to Christmas – could we get the weather to cooperate? Mark finished the semester – 3.7 – hottie with brains – how lucky am I? (Especially when you factor in a man that has gotten up with sick kids night after night so I could rest – I’m spoiled).
After working tonight, I’m off for 4 days – lots of family time this weekend – birthday parties, a trip to see Santa, Christmas lights, out to dinner with friends – and I should probably finish my Christmas shopping. I need the cooties to go away – so we can go and play!
