Yesterday afternoon, without a drop of precipitation on the ground, the Bossier Parish School Board canceled school – I was pretty sure we were “jinxed” – I was wrong! I awoke to a light blanket of snow on the ground – worked until noon and came home to find so much more snow than I ever imagined we would see. Mark is on his way home from work – he shall help us assemble the perfect snowman – making memories that last a lifetime.
While my running shoes long for the sun, my boots love the kiss of the snow. I’m always having to remind myself to live in the here and now; to fight the desire to reach out and grab all the potential that dances on the horizon. Each day holds a reminder that the power of prayer is amazing – I am seeing it more and more all the time. We are so blessed to be a reflection of God’s goodness.

I hate driving in this mess - YES, I was stopped at a red light!
Standing in the snow - 7am
Wow! Standing in the snow 1pm!
Lots of snowflakes make one a.w.e.s.o.m.e snowman!
Any Questions?
